Will I have any adverse reactions to the tetanus vaccine?

by Zach21, Jun 25, 2009 03:49AM
I have to get a tetanus vaccine shot for college, and I just want to make sure I shouldn't have any uncommon side effects. Can having genital herpes have any kind of side effects with this vaccine. I know odds are it is totally unrelated, but I just want to be safe. Thanks for any help.

The normal side effects, if any, are a sore arm where you got the injection. Having your arm relaxed when it is given helps. Having genital herpes would have no effect on the vaccination.
