CAD vs Pulmonary Fibrosis

I have CAD and have 5 stents in my LAD.  However, since my very first stent I've continued to have persistent chest pain, lack of energy and breathlessness during routine things.  I still exercise, and run two miles 2-3 times a week, but still have quite a bit of breathlessness.  In spite of my confirmed CAD, I've been told by several doctors that my chest discomfort doesn't always sound cardiac related.  I've really struggled to understand my symptoms, but have had two clear heart caths over the past two years because I "missed" the symptoms.  But I just had an uncle diagnosed w/ Pulmonary Fibrosis.  I take after this uncle a lot, and having scoured the symptoms, wonder if I should be tested.  I'm not a hypochondriac, but the symptoms seemed a little too close for comfort.  Thank you for your time in answering, and please keep my uncle in your prayers!  Thanks!

You should discuss this with your doctor but if there is any question you should be checked for this.

Forgot to mention.....I ALWAYS HAVE A COLD.  I don't care what time of year it is, I usually don't go more than a month without some kind of cold.
