Isosorbide Mono nitrate

I am taking Isosorbide mononitrate 10 mg twice a day for the last 16 years from 1992, for my ischaema (asymptomatic) which has come in the year 1977.Since i  am taking this drug for 16 long years, will there be any chance of getting the drug tolerated by my body, and if so do you suggest me to increase the dosage to 20 mg twicea day or do  you suggest any other alternative drug. Kindly advise. Thank you v in anticipation

You can become tolerant to long term nitrates but in general if you are taking it twice a day it is less likely you will become tolerant to the drug.  Tolerance is related to the number of times you take the medicine and you should have a nitrate free interval of at least 12 hours per day.
