Pregnant and reduced heart function w/ mild mitral valve leakage

I just had an ECHO that showed I had mild leakage of the mitral valve and slightly reduced heart function.  I had the ECHO due to palpitations and possible shortness of breath.  I am in my 23rd week of my second pregnancy.  I am set to visit a cardiologist, but would like to hear some possibilities since I can't get in for more than a week and I'm very nervous.  Any feedback is appreciated.

In general, leakage of the mitral valve is well tolerated during pregnancy but you need to have the reduced heart function monitored very closely.  If it is only a mild reduction and doesn't change you should do very well with the pregnancy--but get it checked out!!

I understand the leakage is not a great concern and have an appointment with a cardiologist.  My concern is the reduced heart function at 40 - 45%.  What risks am I currently facing?

Also, I contracted Fifths Disease while pregnant and they have been doing ultrasounds to montior the baby.  Could this virus have caused the reduced heart function, as my only symptom was extreme fatigue (not achy joints)?  If not, what else could have caused it?
