Recent Angioplasty and Plaque buildup

Hi,
I had an angioplasty/uncoated stent (90% blockage in LAD, 75% on a branch) and now on 80mg Lipitor, Plavix, 1g Niaspan, and  aspirin. I have dropped my chol numbers to <100 chol,  30s LDL, 50s HDL, and 40s trig.  I am 44 with strong family history of CAD (mom MI at 48, dad bypass at 44 and MI at 64).
Can the plaque buildup and further advancement of CAD be stopped or reversed?  If so, to what extent can I expect.
My cardiologist wants to increase my HDL (HDL-2 is 15, HDL-3 is 36) What's an acceptable HDL level?
What importance is my density pattern ("A" now) to my overall long-term prognosis?
What other options are there for preventative diagnosis of future potential cardiac events? I don't want my internist/cardiologist to look at numbers and my body and say everything is okay, because that's not too far off from what they said before I had my angioplasty!

Thanks,

From what I have been told about stopping or reversing CAD, the answer is no. I am 48 and have had 2 hearts attacks and triple bypass surgery last December.

For my LDL density pattern, it is "B" not "A", sorry.
