Why does this happen to me?

Hi can you tell me why this happens to me?   Often times I will get a sinking, burning, cold, hollow, nauseating feeling in my chest, and then as if my heart is just barely beating.    Sometimes the cold sensation spreads all over my body and I feel weak.    I have worn  a holter monitor during this and the rhythm is normal,  but since this started happening I also get "early beats" alot,  whether i'm feeling this way or not.     When this happens my blood pressure drops...you would think it's still normal, but it's low for me and correlates directly w/ the symptoms.    It will be 105/55 versus my usual 125/75.    Sometimes its just the diastolic that drops,  120/55 maybe.    I just feel so bad when it happens like my body is giving out.       LIke I said I had the holter,  I also had an echocardiogram and chest xray.   And several blood tests inc.  BNP.

It is very likely that since all your heart tests are normal your symptoms are not related to heart disease. You may want to get your blood pressure and heart rate checked lying down and standing (orthostatic response).Sometimes this can provide a clue to such symptoms.

Hey there if_i_had you, carlot, Thompson383, Bluedog, people013, zuzzu, ajibdi, stinky534, idathunkit, tactac, help30439, cheeta_breeda, neegnomer, crabdaddy358, save_a_heart & sleepy_pete. That's quite a few screen names for 5 weeks, but I guess you need them when you ask the same question once or twice a week.

Still not feeling better?  Hope you get better soon so more people, those that follow the two questions every 6 month guideline,  can get their questions on the forum as well. Again, I would invite you to the heart disease communtity where you can network with others. You may want to try the anxiety community as well.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get the same answer again.
