If the pain in your chest is made worse by body position--it is not cardiac.  While stress tests are not 100%--in a female if the test is negative and the work load during the test was good --your are at low risk for a cardiac event.  You should then pursue a diet and exercise program.

I have a similar profile as you.  I am curious as to why you are taking a baby asprin.  did your doctor recommend that?  I have been exercising trying to get my weight and health under control and so far so good.  My family does have a history of diabetes and high blood pressure, but no one has died from heart issues, all diabetes related.  So I am cautious.

could double check there is not an aortic aneurism.   This is very easy for a doctor to check   good luck.
