Yes that's what I meant.. I had that surgery/test done and they took a sample of urine from each kidney while in there and sent it off for urinalysis and seen that both had blood
They can't tell from a urinalysis where the blood is coming from, and that there are no other abnormalities. For that you would need a test where they go up the ureter into the bladder and up to the kidneys with a specialized camera, or at the very least an ultrasound which will at least rule out things like cysts and detect stones. There is also the test where they inject a dye into the bloodstream that allows them to see the flow of urine by xray. I have had all these tests. I had a duplicate kidney that got infected causing a lot of pain. It eventually was removed.
If you have not had at least a kidney ultrasound I would be looking for a new doctor. Good luck. I hope you find some answers.
