lower right pain after taking pednesone

I was extremely ill with sinus infections about 3 months ago and was given large doses of prednisone from an ER doctor for about a week. Since then, I have had  reoccuring lower right side abdominal pain. Any thoughts or help for me?

It's possible it's indigestion. According to drugs.com -

"All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Prednisone:

Gastrointestinal

abdominal distention, abdominal pain,anorexia which may result in weight loss, constipation, diarrhea, elevation in serum liver enzyme levels (usually reversible upon discontinuation), gastric irritation, hepatomegaly, increased appetite and weight gain, nausea, oropharyngeal candidiasis, pancreatitis, peptic ulcer with possible perforation and hemorrhage, perforation of the small and large intestine (particularly in patients with inflammatory bowel disease), ulcerative esophagitis, vomiting."
