I had a lot of trouble with kidney infections when I became sexually active.  They called it honeymooners disease.  I had them so bad I would have to be hospitalized.  I would be in terrible pain and vomiting uncontrollably.  This is when I was around 18 or 19 I am now 36 and have protein leaking from my kidneys intermittently.  I had it happen for a year two years ago and now I am leaking again.  I don't know if this is because of all the infections or not but I would just keep on top of it.

I'm not sure why, but I would get yourself checked out because kidney infections are serious and can cause damage and scarring to your kidneys if left alone (which is what happened to me) Have u ever had UTI's/kidney infections before, any family history? In the last 2 months were you going through a lot of stress, the worst kidney infections i ever had were at times of a lot of stress for me, so maybe its related. I would take good care of yourself, drink as much water as you can. Cranberry juice/tablets might help, altho they never prevented an infection for me they did help with the pain a little. If you feel like you may be getting one again, get yourself to the dr;s asap as it can get serious pretty quickly if your not careful and I just learned the hard way what damage ignoring it can do. :( HTH, take care
