urine change

i was diagnosed in March with stage 3b CKD, GFR 34. I had not noticed too many changes since then until about a week ago, when my urine suddenly changed from bright yellow to completely colorless. I haven't seen my nephrologist since my diagnosis, but have an appointment coming up soon. I intend to tell her aboout this, but in the meantime my question is, is this something significant? Has anyone else experienced this or know what it means?

gr8…me too March CKD3  eGFR in the high 30's..ugh..

i am 52, thin, and i went off the offending RX i was on for 8 years! that caused it  (that doc totally missed the fact that it kept decreasing my function..ugrhhh i should have been taken off of it  6 years ago)

and drink more water, no junk food..no alcohol and the eGFR went up into the 50's

now next month blood test.. i will see if i have even more improvement..

i am looking into kidney diet..

did you do the 24 hr urine test? sonogram?

what did the nephrologist tell you?

mine said to make sure that i tell all my dr.'s when they prescribe meds..no NSAIDs

do you have muscle pain? mine is so bad in the legs i can barely bend them or walk..

So sorry to hear what you've been going through. There is far more than people think to help with kidneys. For example there are many dietary adjustments you can make to improve kidney function. Aside from cutting back on the salt and drinking plenty of water, specific foods will also reduce protein the urine and even restore Kidney functions. The guy who developed ""All Natural Kidney Health & Kidney Function Restoration Program” actually restored his kidney. Follow the link for some free tips and info http://tinyurl.com/k6zf7h7

Are you drinking lots of water or more than before? The clearer your urine the better. I do better if I drink lots of water. At least 8 glasses a day.
