CAFI

I took my 7 year old daughter to the kidney specialist and he said he thinks she has something called cafi. she has little dark marks on her skin. have you ever heard of such a thing .... Confused mom

How are you? How is your daughter? Cafe au lait spots are pigmented birthmarks that may vary in color from light brown to dark brown. The borders may be smooth or irregular.The size and number of CAL skin lesions widely vary, and they are usually the earliest manifestations of neurofibromatosis. I think they may have meant these spots
