Muscle weakness in my legs.

Is it likely that intermittent but increasing muscle weakness in my legs (disturbing my sleep) is caused by my Stage 3 kidney disease? I also have intermittent fatigue. I had a kidney 14 months ago but also had to come off HRT ~10 months ago after being on it for 18 years. Which is causing my main problems as that could determine the best treatment?.
