i am 18 and has glomerulonephritis .. i was diagnosed last december 2010..i was subjected to hypertension about 140/100 as i can recall.. but after taking diuretic drugs about 3 months.. my blood pressure turned normal.. my only problem is the protein (albumin) and red blood cell in my urine.. i'll be undergoing a kidney biopsy procedure this may and im afraid of what will be the outcome of it ...any advice or outlook about what the doctors will say after the biopsy??? i need a peace of mind :(

NOTHING said here will stop your concern. You have a right for the concern, but try not to worry til there is something to actually worry about. Be thankful, for now, at age 18, that your meds helped the BP to come down and you don't have that looming. We are all afraid of the unknown, but you can make yourself sicker with the worry. Glomerulonephritis can be managed. A doctor doing a kidney biopsey, is doing a good job of ecaluating you! To even guess at your outcome is not safe here.
