kidney donate

please can anyone tell me if some one sufferd with high bloodpressure but it was under controll with medication ,could they still be able to go ahead an donate there kidney to someone especial if it was a memer or relative of there own family,i would be gratefull on any feedbac on this matter , many thanks.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Hypertension is a contraindication for kidney donation. So, kidney cannot be donated by a hypertensive patient.

thankyou for your answer,I thought so,but just wanted to make sure,im new here ,and glad of all info regarding this,i will be using this forum a lot,now i have just found out my brother will be going on dialisis soon ,thankyou.
