In the past year I have lost 45 pounds due to loss of appetite and nausea and I do wake with my hair drenched, but not all over night sweatsSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent and don't feel like I have any itching that is more than normal. (I have very dry skin and itch all the time anyway).
I do not run fevers, not even when having a severe infection (had a ruptured appendix with no temperature or elevated white blood count) so I am not running fevers, but I do have strange hot and cold at the same time feelings, like I am burning up and in front of a freezer at the same time.
Should I just ignore it since my Dr does not seem troubled or should I try to see an Oncologist to have it evaluated if one will take me without a referral?
Just wanted to add, yesterday I noticed another node that is firm near my other arm-pit. Until then they had all been on the right side but now there is the one on my left side that is firm, not as hard as the ones on my right side, but it also does not move and is attached to the tissue under it.
Well, turns out it is not lymphoma, it is instead advanced Carcinoid Cancer. I am dropping this thread, which is just as well since it never had any responses anyway. I would delete this thread but have no clue how to delete them.
I am so sorry no one responded. I wasn't even a member here in April, but know how frustrating it is when someone wont respond when you are worried sick and just need someone to listen or care.
I hope everything turns out okay for you.
