Hard nodule digging in my vocal cord

Typically I am a very healthy 31 yr old female.  I eat really good food and exercise regularly.
I have had a nodule which I thought was on my thyroid but the dr I just saw said that it was not my thyroid and that it was in my lymph node.  It is on the left sid about middle of my neck and about the size of a bean-ish.  I noticed it last fall and it did not bother me.  The nodule itself does not hurt but when I swallow certain things my throat hurts in that certain spot and I can feel it pushing on something possibly my vocal cords or esophagus.  It is bothersome but not terrible.
I have had night sweats to where I woke up soaking wet.  I am sooooo unbelievably fatigued.  I have a mild fevers for no reason.  99.9, 99.6 or 99.8.
All doctors look at me and say I look to healthy to have something wrong with me.  It is really frusterating.  Also, they say no one in my family has had it so I wont.

Any advice???

Thank you so much for responding :)  I apologize I typed it up pretty fast.  I can feel it with my hands.  It feels like a bean.  I used to think it was on my thyroid but I just went to an endocrinologist and he said it was not my thyroid and that it was my lymph node.  I only can feel it when I swallow vitamins or if I slightly turn my head and swallow.
I just go an MRI but do not know the results yet.  I hope I explained it a little better.  I am terrible with writing.

I am sorry to hear about your Leukemia.  How are you doing?  Are you in remission?  Are Leukemia and Lymphoma similar?  I really appreciate you taking the time to reply back to me.  I hope that you are doing well.

Hi Lisa:  Your message was missing a few things.  You said the doctor said its not your Thyroid, but in your lymph node.  Well, what did he suggest?  If you are feeling it when you swallow you better go see a throat specialist.  You need further testing on that nodule to see exactly what it is, and why you have it so long.
Was this doctor a specialist, or just your primary physician.  Either way, its always good to get a second opinion.  Personally, I would not wait.  I would want to know exactly what it is.  Please get it checked out, and post back.
I try to get on here as often as I can, but lately I have not been doing so.
I have had Leukemia since 1998, and I try to get on here to help others if I can.
Please follow-up on this condition.  I wish you the best.
