Lymph node 2cm in size for seven months, now another one..

I am a 17 year old male.

I've had a lymph node in my groin enlarged (about 2 cm in size) since about October of last year, it is now May, so about seven months.  I did go to an oncologist for it in January, but after examining it he said it was nothing to worry about (mobile, no night sweats, no weight loss, nothing else) and I was relieved.

It hasn't really grown, but surely hasn't decreased in size either, and still no other symptoms have arisen.  However, just yesterday I felt ANOTHER node, just below it, that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before, and it is almost as big as the original one.  Still painless, however.

Should I go back to my doctor, even though I've already pestered him about it so much until he finally decided to send me to an oncologist who said it was fine?

Also, I am a runner who trains pretty vigorously as part of the track team.  Could heavy exertion, especially with my legs, have caused this?

Get a second opinion on this because it is over 1.5cm in the groin, It is most likely nothing. The wart would not be the cause of the enlarged node. Sometimes after an infection nodes do not go back to there normal size. Cancer in a groin node is less than 1%

Be well

Also, I do have at the moment a wart on the big toe of the same leg, so could that be causing it (it is a viral infection)?

I also just want to know, is it possible that this big lymph node in my groin will stay like that for life?  It has been there for so long and it really is not decreasing in size, so it definitelly seems like that will be the case.  I understand that it's not cancerous or anything, but I'm just a little freaked out that I read everywhere that lymph nodes are supposed to go away in 3 moths MAX, but this one is just persisting indefinitelly.

Personally, I don't believe heavy exertion could cause lymphnodes like this, but I could be wrong. However I would say if you feel concerned, even a little bit? Definitely go back to the doc. I would cuz you just never know. It may be nothing but it could be something and if it is something then I would want to catch it right away.
