CBC and Leukemia

WBC 16  (range is 0-10) and five others are high. I do have a pit tumor but dont think they are related. Low grade fever, very very tired, major night sweats as well. My wbc has been high all my life (38) now. My feet turn purple for no reason and rash on the bottom of my feet. Joints and muscles hurt. My hands go numb and tingle. Doc is sending me to a cancer clinic because of CBC results. Should I be concerned?

Acromegaly is the correct spelling.

Yes, definitely get any oncologic possibilities ruled out.

Keep us posted.

I have been seeing my endo for two years. Today was my 6mth follow up. The did determine Acromelgaly (spelling??) . They will do a supress test and if works then she said the only times she has seen numbers like that were in cancer patients. If the count stays high then the tumor goes fast. This is the disorder that Lirch on Adams Family and the Hulk have. I also know that meds have come a long way since. They still want me to see the onco friday due to something on the blood work. Either way its been a long two years of fever, pain, still growing and fear. So I am ready for a break! Not looking forward to radiation but I can handle it :)

In my opinion, I don't think this Lymphoma or Leukemia.  I think this is metabolic in nature; related to pituitary tumor.

Are you seeing an Endocrinologist at all?
