Will Lyphoma nodes continue to increase in size?

Hi there, to cut a long story short, since January last year (1 year ago) I have had enlarged lymph nodes under my left armpit. Ever since I have noticed them they have remained the same size and not grown. I have been to see my GP and he has said they are not worrisome to him at all. I have had all my bloods taken and they were completely health also. I find myself getting itchy a lot though which worries me. When I first noticed these nodes it was because I was getting a lot of pain under my armpit. I also believe I have chronic inflammation on that side of my body which could have a part to play. I'm worried I have lymphoma though. I'm a 20 year old boy. My GP said lymphoma nodes would be of considerable size if they were nodes that were going to worry him but these weren't big enough for that. Would these nodes have grown in a years time if they were likely due to lymphoma?

Yes, lymphoma nodes would usually continue growing. Did they pop up almost overnight?

Did you have some irritation in that underarm area that started things off? (The itching is probably due to histamine, btw.)

I would kinda think they appeared over night! Like don't get me wrong I didn't really used to poke around under my armpits but certainly when I first noticed them I hadn't noticed them before. And also when I did notice them it was because for a few days beforehand I had been getting really quite painful dull aches under that armpit and that's when I noticed them. I also have a chronic inflammation on thing on this side of the body also so not sure if that has a part to play, I still get burning sensations and dull aches under this armpit too. The nodes have been the same size since I have found them but I will continue to monitor them
