Wondering

Vmp
I was dressing my 5th month old caught today- as I was putting lotion in her chest I felt a bump between her rib cage- like where it meets....

Is this something to worry about?

She is eating well, no fevers or any other symptoms

Hi jocro

We did go to the ped yesterday . She said it was normal - it was her sternum - we all apparently have it but we have our covered by fats bc we are adults....

It just got me worries bc I know lumps are bad. Thank you

Hi VMP, best to get a doctor to look at her. I am no expert and could be wrong but there is a gland situated inbetween the rib cage, is it at the top of her chest? I think its called the thymus gland? Fingers crossed if its a gland swollen then its just a virus or infection? But please get it checked out by a doctor and let us know how u go on, best of luck xx
