I had a chest ct 2 years ago and they found multiple large bulla & blebs in my left linguia the largest being 2.9 cm by 1.7 cm, then a week ago I had another chest ct to check if there is any progress and my largest bleb grew 0.2 cm so it is now 3.1 cm by 1.7 cm. & they also found numerous additional blebs/bulla that also have grown in my upper left lobe. Now I have a family history of lung cancer (both small cell and non-small cell) as well as Pulmonary Fibrosis...all of which who had theses diseases are deceased. My left arm goes numb at least once a day and I have muscle cramps in my left arm and leg quite often. I also have had to blackouts, one resulted in me stopping breathing, lips turned purple/blue and my blood levels were off the charts saying I had a heat stroke. It does hurt when I breath especially when I was laying down and I do out of breath when doing extrenious activity. Just recently I have developed a dry cough. Now my pulmonologist says I have nothing to worry about but I find this very vague considering my family history and the fact that more bulla/bleb are growing even though my largest is only 3.1cm. I am only 5ft tall so I am pretty petite. I shouldn't have chest pains consistantly, should it. Am I imagining this in my head. I have another appointment on 2/2/12 with a new pulmonologist. Thank You for ANY help.
