I just found out 5 weeks ago that I had 4 th stage lung cancer, I went to a wounderfull cancer center and just had my first chemo treatment.Along with pumping my body with all good things and prayers.
Anybody out there in the same boat Im in ????

My prayers are with you. I also have just found out that my mother has stage 4 lung cancer that is inoperable. I was on this site trying to find information on treatment. Are you telling me that this stage can be in remission? If so, please advise me on who to speak with about this and how to obtain more information.

There is a wonderful (!) website--Lung Cancer Alliance--and there are many Stage IV lung cancer survivors participating in the website who could be of tremendous comfort and resource to you.  Some of those Stage IVers are even 3, 4, 5, 9 years out from initial diagnosis.  

Their knowledge rivals that of a thoracic oncologist.  Very impressive.

what chemo are you taking?  prayers are really important, and hang out with the folks praying for you.  getting support in this tough time is what you need...
