What are the dangers of asbestos exposure at home. we pulled out some ceiling in our house that contained asbestos artex, which must have created some dust. This concerns me more as it was ceiling in my young son's room, and even though he wasn't in the room when doing the work, there could have been some dust left as we didn't know it contained white asbestos at the time and used a hoover to clean up which your not supposed to do.
Exposure from asbestos at home generally is significant for people who are involved in building houses (especially electricians). You may consider discussingDiscussing death with children the matter with an engineer if replacement is in order. The use of white asbestos in general has been restricted in the US.
