It is good that the previous nodules appear not to be increasing in size.
If there are new nodules, then I would think that you may have something indolent, like a chronic infection, or an exposure to an airborne irritant (could it be occupationalOccupational asthma in origin?) . Your body seems to be fighting it off with the formation of nodules. The nodules seem to small and few to be producing any symptoms, is there any known exposure that may explain the condition?
Thank you for your response- I forget to mention that they believe the nodules are not new but found in "retrospect" after they compared the 2 ct scans- would that affect your previous posting- thank you again- it means so much to have someone with you expertise to ask

Yes, that changes things. If the nodules had been found retrospectively, then this would strengthen the stability of the lung findings. It would also make finding the cause of all this harder, as whatever was causing it is in the past (and is likely no longer present with your current health and personal circumstances). If it was infectiousInfectious endocarditis Infectious mononucleosis Infectious mononucleosis #3 to begin with, then there is a good chance that the nodules represent scars. At any rate, if things are stableStable angina Unstable angina and you feel fine, there shouldn’t be any reason to worry too much.
