wierd obsessions

ok so PLEASE post and let me know its not just me but im thinking i really have lost it...and yet the obsessiveness continues...i'll explain...
i have my bags packed, the announcement cards are addressed and waiting filling in...the works but im worried as i haven't yet painted my toes and de fuzzed the old legs yet...in know it sounds wierd but im sooo worried that if i dont get it done the midwife will wonder what on earth is going on, i feel i look like a hairy gorilla with badly neglected toenails...i know it stupid but i spent over an hour looking for the hand mirror so that i could use it to see beyond the bump and that was just to tidy up the nether region (if you get my drift) and that was such a feat i gave up on continueing trying to reach my swollen ankles or even my toes! AND i have to get hubby to hoist me out of the bath as i can't get up once there! one of these days im fearful that he'll call the fire brigade! Oh my i hope ive managed to de fuzz and paint the toes by that satge too!
am i lost? or just completely hormonally challenged....and does anyone else have wierd `has to be done now` obsessions?

i am with you ladies! i cannot seem to think of anything else but preparing for my baby! i am getting the last of the items on my baby list, and am even becoming obsessed with making sure we are stocked up on like, everything. examples? buying 3 bags of dog food to have on hand (my dog is under 20 pounds, this will literally last months, maybe half a year), stocking up on toilet paper, paper towels, contact solution, toothbrushes, toothpaste.. i can't seem to leave a thing left alone.. even to the point of cleaning the top of the refrigerator, the top of the cabinets, taking all of the dishes and kitchen supplies out of the cabinets and drawers and cleaning inside. purging out stuff i think we no longer need, goodwill will be seeing me soon. i have to-do lists piled up at my desk, and yes.. i am definitely hoping to be :landscaped: when the moment arrives. i have given up on doing my own nails, which i usually do, and fortunately caught a deal on a mani/pedi on groupon.com. totally using that soon. i am planning to beautify a bit before each upcoming doctor's appointment just in case they admit me!

I am completely there with you...After I was in the hospital last week I have been making sure everything is all cleaned up just in case something happens and we have to go back in.  I know the nurses / dr. have seen worse I'm sure, but I just feel better knowing that I don't have a "forest" growing from the waist down :)  My hormones are raging and I seem to be obessessing over everything at the moment, but I'm trying to keep it all under control or else I am going to drive myself crazy.  I feel like everything needs to be in it's place and with a toddler that just doesn't happen. I feel like I am following her around constantly with a dustbuster just trying to keep everything clean! I honestly feel like I am losing it and this is something I didn't have to deal with last time I was pregnant so it's uncharted territory for myself and my husband.
