Cravings

Okay, so the appetite is getting better, and I am finding myself having some cravings, some that aren't so good for me:

I saw a DQ Blizzard commercial 3 days ago which made me think of Butterfinger Blizzards, and ever since, I have been wanting to go to the store and by a bag of fun-sized Butterfinger candy, and probably eat the whole thing.

HAD to have a Chick Fil A nuggets kid's meal the other day. No really, I was seriously about to run anyone off the road that was slowing me down in getting there.

As far as the better-for-me cravings: Still on a chicken salad kick and this week have for some reason have wanted a smoked turkey (organic, nitrate free) sandwich for lunch every single day. Another one - my late night snack - is almond butter spread on saltines. The healthiest I-must-have is fruit, and lots of it.

What things are you going nuts over to eat right now? Anyone doing weird food combos? This could get pretty entertaining :)

I don't really have cravings... I just know what I DON'T feel like eating. The thought of food makes me feel queasy but I can eat pretty much everything I used to...except biscuits and sometimes bread! I LOVE tomatoes and tomato soups... fruits are on the daily menu and I am forcing myself to eat some yogurt... oh and I like baby food in morning instead of cereals... (sounds weird but it's yummy).
I guess cravings are a bit overrated... I am always trying to find healthy replacements for my unhealthy cravings and even if I indulge in some french fries and pizza I am trying to limit the quantity. I found out if I feel like having sweets a banana and an orange or apple do the trick just fine although a small cinnabon is sometimes tempting :). Good I am too tired to get out and buy it every day..
So I guess there's no harm in indulging if you do it in small quantities... I keep reading about fat babies problems and I am freaking out on food a bit... Though I just hate drinking the green juice the doc advised me to because it's plain yucky :).

So good luck to everyone handling cravings ;)

Hugs,
Laura

Oh I was having cravings...I am a few weeks behind and my sickness is in full swing.  I am not actually vomitting, but just the thought of food makes me nauseous.  I am really ready to get past this part and on to the good food :)

I am on pretzel and mustard kicks or the more common are the fish sandwich and Payday cravings  ><

I try to avoid them but the need gets so overwhelming and it kinda takes over the self control...lol.
