Gawd...I feel lost! My husband and I having been trying to conceive for about 5 months now. We thought we would try it "the old fashion way" and hope it would "just happen". Well to this day - no baby - soooo, here we are hoping to find some answers. I've been reading the posted messages and I'm a bit confused. My cycle is a 28 day cycle (I counted back the last 2 months), now when should I count for ovulation? Should I count 14 days from the first day I spotted or do I count it from the first "actual" steady flow? Or do I count backwards and count 16 days back from my next "due" cycle.  Should we have intercourse every day or every other day during the ovulation. Any response given sure would help us in figuring out the right time!!  Thanks
Wendy, get the ovulation test in the drugstores.  They tell you exactly when you start ovulating.  If you have a 28 day cycle then count 14 days from the first day of your period...the first day you see anything!  What we did was two days before and one day after the day of ovulation.  YOu may have to do it a couple of months to figure it out.  Good luck.
