adominal pains immediately during or after eating

My 11 year old daughter has lately been experiencing adominal (abdominal) pains towards the end of a meal or snack or within a minute or two after eating.  These pains are intense until she is able to have a bowel movement.  Sometimes the occurence is immediate....finish the food, right in to adominal (abdominal) pains, followed by a bowel movement.....sometimes the pain begins within minutes after eating.... the pain does not ease until she has the bowel movement however long the wait is for the bowel movement.  Does anyone have any ideas what could be the cause.  She is 5'2", 95 lbs and very active and athletic.  Until now she has not had any type of health problem.   please advise.    thank you
