I have two halo sleeping bags emma if u want me to send them to u they zip up in the front kendrick sweats at night so I dont really use them
Yeah its summer here in aussie now, but in winter i bought Bailey a sleeping bag, one that was sleeveless, so he would wear his own pj's underneath it, and then i knew he couldn't kick anything off and get cold. I'd say definately try using them, they're the best.
Sleep sacks can be nice because they can't kick it off like a blanket can. I was gonna get some for Gen but all I find are the ones with the swaddle attachment.
Oh, the halo sleepsack? I thought about trying one of those when Cady doesn't want to be swaddled anymore. One of the hospitals here gives one away with every baby that's born there.
Third, i seen them at the store today. I almost picked one up but didnt. Think i will get one tomorrow and.try it out. Sounds like a wonderful thing. Amd it was pretty heavy too. Funny i was just about to ask about them here lol.
Now im a little dumb about seasons in other places.. is it summer there in aussie?
Why don't you use baby sleeping bags? Thats what i used in winter with Bailey, it's like a jumpsuit they wear but is a bag at the end. Bailey never stays under the blankets, in fact i don't even have one in the cot anymore as he turns from being up one end straight down to the other end.
I didn't know you weren't supposed to use blankets? Is it a risk of suffocating? I've used blankets on my baby since the start. She was born in the winter. It was too cold not to.
They hate being swaddled lol. I just let them sleep with me. I will try a blanket tonight for bed. Just scares me
I use blankets on kendrick all the time when he is asleep but waist down I usually wake up when he wakes up so he doesn't pull the blankets up near his face and suffocate himself but I always cover him it helps when I put him down for naps :)
What if you swaddle them in it?
I know the new guidelines are no blankets until one year old but I've always used blankets with my children. I've been using one with Gen since she was born. I think as long as you're smart about it it poses little to no risk.
