Mizz I'm shocked that your Dr would lecture you on having children at your age. Its not like 34 is even close to being old. With everything new medicine knows lots of women are having perfectly healthy children later in life anyway.
I'm grateful my OBGYN is so supportive. Not a single things has been said by this doctors office. Ijust turned 35 last week. She mentioned the plan if we want to continue having kids beyond this one.
I only turned 34 before I had my baby but wasn't ready emotionally to get my tubes tied afterwards. My dr gave me a big lecture on babies at my age and it made me feel so irresponsible and so old.
I agree. It's just hit home yesterday since ow i am officially 35, and will be giving both at 35.
That's just not cool. I've been amazed at how insensitive some Dr can be. My niece who is 6 months old has down syndrome, a heart defect and some dead intestines so she has been in the hospital since birth. So my sister in law has had to say something to a couple Dr and surgeons because they kept referring to my niece as a downs syndrome baby instead of a baby who has downs syndrome.
And I heard it from a medical professional.
That's kinda insensitive. 35 is far from being elderly.
Ty! I'm not old damn it! LOL
Lol 35 isnt even close to being elderly lol for the most part I praise women who get pregnant in their mid 30s bc its hard to and by the time women are 40 only 8percent of our eggs are good..8 percent! ! Getting preggers at like 50 thats pretty elderly
35 isn't "elderly" like 45 i would say close to menopausal time
