Menopausal burning down below

Has anyone else suffered the dreaded Vaginal Atrophy. Have been prescribed Vagifem which is helping  a little. Main problem for me is burning after urination. Don't like using the prescribed betnovate cream too often as this burns. Now trying the yes products. Some days I seem much better and then the next day it returns with avengeance. Sitting at School working with children is not ideal and aggravates it even more. Can only use vagifem twice a week now, but desperate to know what I can use in between the days when not using it. Replies would be much appreciated.

Oops - forgot to mention one other possibility. Inserting vitamin E capsules may work too. I tried a synthetic one (dl-...) versus a natural one (d-...). It burned so I do not know if the natural form would have been better or if burning initially is to be expected with atrophied tissues.

You could try over-the-counter long-acting lubricant Replens. I have not personally used it but have read it can be very helpful. If you find something that works, please share.
