Hi Jessica.
I just read your comments. You say you want to have a baby, but you're
already 42. If you were able to get pregnant within the next year say,
you would be in your sixties when your child would be in their early
twenties. These are things one has to consider. After age 40, the chances
of having a Down Syndome child is more than 50 %. It is of course, your
choice whether or not you want to have a child in your forties. My mom
had my youngest sister when she was forty and she was born healthy.
I wish you the best, Jessica. Be well, Eve :)
HI,
At the age of 42 years and with only one tube and ovary, things are not very favourable. Hence you should take the help of your Doctor, so that with the help of systematic treatment a pregnancy can be achieved at the earliest. Fertility will depend on the status of the other tube, the hormonal status, presence of ovulation and sperm factors. Consult a gynaecologist for an examination. Hope this helps.
Take care and good luck.
