tension and light pain on the sides of the groan after abstaining

It started five years ago when I abstained for a few months and a few weeks in I felt pains on the sides of the groins. There was inflammation and the doctor prescribed antibiotics after which it went away. Now, whenever I abstain for a week or two I feel the same dull pain and pressure on my left side.
My theory was that the body was just readjusting and it would go away, but it seems that they was some damage done on the left side and the buildup of whatever it is is making itself felt by pressing on the damaged area. It's the same pattern. If I abstain for two weeks it starts the pain, and it goes right away after ejaculation.
Obviously it shouldn't do this. So something is wrong.

Btw. The pain doesnt start in the testes region, so I don't think it's blue balls.
