long history of genital ailments vs possible new cause

22 year old white male

Ever since I was 17 I have been experiencing a string of genital ailments with an unknown cause.
firstly there was a slight balanitis rash and very slight clear watery urethral discharge.
later there came an enflamed meatus and a pinching feeling along with urethral heat and itching radiating from the perineum. This would go away and recur sporadically. This first appeared after some oral sex.
I should mention that I had many std tests and all were negative including herpes at this point.
The next thing that happened was after a period of a lot of sex with a new girlfriend, painful red spots on the penis, which I was absolutely convinced was herpes, I later tested negative.
later on I got a strep infection in my urethra, causing a white discharge, this led to epididymitis that has recurred to this day, not necessarily chronic as there is often heat and redness.
There was a period of being totally fine that lasted about a year and a half, this all stopped when I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend for the first time.
since I have been very commited to being totally protected even during oral, however since I broke up with my girlfriend, I seem to develop new symptoms after each new partner.

The latest set of symptoms are slight red blemish on glans, pinching and mild burning and red mark on urethra, no pain when urinating at all.
this came after unprotected oral, and as usual I am terrified its herpes, I did also experience flu like symptoms, but more classically flu then the herpes symptoms described online.

I'm wondering, why do i seem to continue to get unrelated problems in this area, I am definitely a massive paranoiac about these issues and have even been given citalopram to deal with this, how much could genitally focussed anxiety play a part, because there have definitely been irrefutable physical symptoms.
I recently bought a magnifying glass, bad idea...
