Rash

I have a bad rash for the lack of term in and around the outer area of my rectom. I have battled this for months using anything and everything for relief and I cannot get relief or get over it. I have been to my colon doctor more than once with very little help. I have a hard time staying clean and the area is alway raw and even bleeds from me scratching the area. I have muti bowel movements daily, sometimes loose and sometime not. But I think that is good. I need help and relief and no one seems to have the answer.

Have you tried the stuff called "monkey butt"?  It seems to work for football players that get that raw chaffing in their butt cracks.

Hi,
I think what you have is an external hemorrhoid, which is a common health problem for many people. If your present doctor is not helpful you should see another. Here is a link that gives more details of this condition:

http://vienna-doctor.com/ENG/Articles_ENG/hemorrhoids.html

Even though during the initial stages externally applied medications would be effective, at later stages, more invasive treatment may be required. Though surgery is effective, sometimes it leads to fecal incontinence and development of scar tissues. The cryogenic system is very simple and effective.
If you have access to alternative medicines, you could try that for few months before any surgical method is used. Try not to sit for long hours, eat fibrous food, and stay away from spices. In alternative medicines, it is generally believed that vegetables like white pumpkins, and onions are good, but chicken and egg are to be avoided. Dairy products, especially curd and fruits like apples and pomegranates have good effect on intestinal health. So, by balancing your life style, a lot of irritation from this condition can be reduced.
