Hernia

C_D
I'm a 23 year old male, I went to the hospital and found out I have a hernia on my right side just below my waist. It is causing some pain to my right testicle. The doctor at the hospital said I need surgery. Is this painful surgery?

I had a hernia operation years back it's not bad. The hernia  was painful not the surgery.

My husband had the surgery many years ago and he did just fine. You will have to take it easy for awhile though. Depending on how extensive the hernia is, I would'nt be too surprised if they do the surgery out patient. Of course you'll receive pains meds and the Dr will send you home with a script for pain meds.    Remar
