Penile discharge after multiple treatments

A couple months ago I began having a minor white discharge and mild burning after ejaculation. I went and got tested and was told I had NGU. I was given a 1000mg dose of Zithromax which did nothing for my symptoms. My partner also went to her doctor and was tested. She tested positive for trichimoniasis and was prescribed flagyl. I returned to my doctor and advised them of her diagnosis. I tested negative but my doctor gave me 2000mg dose of metronidazole because I was exposed to trichimoniasis. The discharge went away for a week or so but slowly started to return. Again I went back to my doctor and was tested and had negative results. The symptoms continued so I asked for yet another test that also came back negative. My doctor will not give me any more antibiotics because all my tests are negative but I'm still having a mild discharge and burning. Also I have not had any sexual contact since the first treatment. Any suggestions on what this may be or what my next step should be?
