Sorry, I'm making a new post.

Let me explain.

I am a 14 year old boy. I started masturbating ever since I was about 11 years old in grade 5, and I have been addicted to masturbating ever since (I masturbate and ejaculate daily ever since I started. Sometimes multiple/several times a day.) After a couple months after I started masturbating, my genitals started to itch like crazy, and around the same time, my anus did as well. At first, for the first few months after it started itching, I just itched very hard in those areas (my nails are somewhat sharp, as well.) But after a while, I just couldn't take it anymore; so to get rid of the unbearable itching, I put rubbing alcohol, and even toothpaste, on my genitals and in my anus, almost daily (a lot of it, and I mean a lot. It's just so ridiculous how much I used.). And I continued itching constantly. I did all of these obviously very stupid things, every single day, for a year straight! Actually, even longer!

I am now very scared because: The incredibly excessive masturbation already made my genitals red, dry, tender, painful, and weak. The over-masturbation alone caused a lot of damage. But I also scratched those areas very, very hard, and to make it worse, I put a bunch of rubbing alcohol and toothpaste on those areas! And I did this all for years, every single day! And I am just 14! What do I do? Should I get a checkup? I stopped doing all of this, except the over-masturbation, several months ago. And I am currently trying to beat my masturbation addiction. I am really worried and I am really regretful.

I see that Sara answered your post in Dermatology, and I agree with her answer.

I think you should probably get a check up, though if you aren't having any symptoms of anything, you are probably fine.

Besides because it feels good, why are you masturbating so often? Do you have other things to do with your time? I know it's been a weird time with covid, but what about homework? Exercising? Video games? Hanging out with family or friends?

Sara mentioned talking to your dad about all of this, and I agree. If your dad isn't available, or isn't safe to talk to, is there someone else you can talk to? Your mom? An older brother? A trusted adult relative?

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation. Thank you for your answer. But I've been wondering, would there any nerve damage? Would there be less feeling and pleasure? If so, could it heal to the point where it's like nothing happened, or would it be permanent damage? Would the masturbation have impeded the healing process? Thank you.
I can't answer that - only a doctor could. I'd guess probably not, but can't say that for sure.

If you aren't experiencing any problems now, you're probably fine.
