Lump after circumcision?

Hi there.

Im a 26 year male living in south africa and I recently had a full circumcision done due to phimosi. Its been 8 days now and obviosly its still looking like a mess. I can feel its healing now as the sensitivity is getting less and the pain from erections is getting more bearable. There were issues I was concerned about and found most my answers on this site. Thank you for that. The only thing I can't find, is that since the operation there was like a "tic-tac" sized lump, situated just beneath the head where the frenulum is suppose to be? Is this something they stitched closed like a vein or something? Its not sore, although sensitive as the rest of the newly exposed parts. It wasn't there before or not that I know of. Any assistence would be appreciated
