Lump on penis scabbed and swollen

This started as a lump, became irritated by my underclothes and somehow scabbed up and seemingly it's getting worst. Been 3 days, it's sensitive on sides and hurts hard on top. My wife was diagnosed with hpv 4 years ago. Of course I'm confident she didn't step out on me but prior to our marriage 6 yrs ago I was more sexually active
