I'm so glad to hear your feeling better.
When do you see the Chiro again? Yes, maybe you should get a couple more adjustments to see if it helps. I do agree with you though, if your not better soon, then make an appointment with another GI. You don't want to let this go on much longer.
well i am hurting again now but had about 3 hours of pain free day today. this is a great improvement over previously having said that i will still say i have been sick at my stomach still though but not to the extent i have been did actually eat something worth speaking about today first time in about 5 weeks lol. I am still going to give the chiro about another week just to see if it is or isnt going to resolve stomach issues. If it does not then im going to go to another gi thk god i have pretty good insurance so i dont need a referal i can just request records and go.
Yes, I'm beginning to wonder about your Dr also. I could understand it if he recommended a Neuro or another Gasto Dr, but a surgeon? That does'nt make sense.
Actually, from what I've read about the diverticuli, it can cause problems. You know it's kind of like a pouch, so to speak, in the intestines. It's not supposed to be there. I'm not a Dr and this is just from what I've read but maybe you do need to see another Gastro Dr.
I understand you not wanting to have another colon test but maybe you won't have to. You do have the results and you can take them to the new Dr to look at.
Thats it the diverticula where not inflammed or infected all he really stated was he saw nothing he thought that could be causing my issues. I do believe alot in my case ive had some not so good dr. Nothing suggested about an upper gi at all by him just basically he stated ive done what i can do go see a surgeon hmm. Well after seeing chiro today im still naseuas and i eat mainly because of that more than anything when i do eat it just makes it worse almost instatntly but i still try to force myself to do so all i can.
What did the Dr say about the diverticuli? If this is infected it had to be treated with meds or surgery.
Chiropractors are great. I see one myself and have for many years. It's amazing how I can go in with all kinds of pain, nausea, headaches and leave feeling so much better.
It's true that pain can cause nausea, but in your case it seems to be more than just being out of alignment.
I'm wondering if your next step would be to have an upper GI done since your having all of this nausea and can't eat.
I'm not sure if you should see a Neuro first, or ask for an upper GI. The Neuro Dr would check your back to see if there are any disc problems. If you did have bulging or herniated discs that could be causing the pain.
Thks for responding i just got back from the chiro again and after tins unit treatment and him reseting my pelvis and hip pain is much better but im very very naseuated. He told me this could be the affect of the pain or the displacement. However i will say it seems to be better. for the moment cant really belive though it could be this simple of an answer but maybe it is. any other suggestions. if it doesnt fix the issue by next week im guessing my next step might be a neurologist?
Why is your Dr recommending a surgeon? They don't even know what's going on yet. I would'nt want anyone preforming surgery on me either without knowing what the problem is. You may have to keep seeing Drs until you do find one that knows what in the world is going on. I wish I could be of more help but they've done tests that I would have recommended. Don't give up, keep looking for answers. Remar
