Please help Urgent advice needed

ok let me start by stating a what is going on thus far. This all started one
afternoon jan 4th to be exact i came in from work for lunch, when i came in i
told my wife i wasnt feeling well. Before this hour lunch was over i started
to hurt in back down low pelvic kidney region not bad just a little and too
when i urinated it would burn. having had a kidney infection before i told my
wife to call the doctor to see if i could get in she did and i went the next
day. I was running fever 100.6  doctor ran test no infection showing in
kidneys bladder ect chalked up to prostatitus (forgive my spelling if
incorrect) pain is now not so much in my back as well as inside me radiating
into back and lower abdomen. Was given cipro 500 mg 2xdaily. three days
latter im back in doctor high fever spiking in the 102 range sick as a horse
pain is prevalent in pelvic region rigt side close to sexual organ and in
between sexual organ and anus. Doctor performed a prostate exam which brought
me to tears literally. switched my antibiotics to levaquin 750 mg once daily.
Ordered a catscan to check for kidney stones. Refered me to uriologist.10
days latter got in to see him. No stones where apparent. Went to urologist
blood kidney bladder prostate exam test ensued plus did a psa test to ensure
2 days later get results all clear. Urologist stated no problem there but he
did see some diverticuli on the catscan and suggested i got to
gastrointerologist. I at this point am having no more fever however pain
persist and has centralized to lower right abdomen all the way down front of
pelvc area to my anus and radiating into my butt check and inner thigh. i am
still extremly naseuas still esp when i try to eat and am already starting to
drop weight 10 pounds to be exact. get scheduled to go to gastroenterologist
2 week wait there.problem is now becoming severe. regular md perscribed me
levaquin again until i get in with him and some lortabs for the pain.By the
time i goto gi i have lost 20 pnds. Due to Naseua. I cant eat anything at
this point without Just feeling worse alot worse. however i have never
vommited.  I goto GI tell him the scoop he schedules a colonoscapy. 4 days
later i have the procedure. he states he see some anal fissures some
diverticuli and no ulcerations ect. he is unsure at this point not really
seeing anything that could cause my pain. tells me my next step is to talk to
a surgeon He gives me cipro and metronidazole and if that didnt help to take
the surgeon step. Me being at wits end and having had to take Family medical
leave from work at this point. I got up the next morning thinking what can be
left that hasnt been checked. Only thought was muscles nerves joints that i
could think of. I dont want someone cutting on me not knowing what is going
on. So i decide to call the chiropractor who i have been to see over time for
different issues with great success. he tells me that my right pelvic bone is
twisted and way out of line. he uses the tins unit (electrical stimulus) on
muscles first  to relax them adjust my hip which hurt like hell (sorry excuse
my language but thats the only thing appropriate) and let me know that it
would appear all my muscles tendon ect where way to tight in this leg. He
scheduled me to return friday (me writing this on thursday the day before). I
have tried strecthing as he suggested icing down taking hot soaking bath ect
but im on fire in pain and the pain killers dont even take it away. I dont
want to start taking these pain killers all the time either. Im worried and
upset as this is affecting ever part of my life now and i have no answers and
the treatments for all intents and purposes thus far are either not helping
or making it seems worse. ANYONE know anything that might help me? 38 year

I'm so glad to hear your feeling better.
When do you see the Chiro again? Yes, maybe you should get a couple more adjustments to see if it helps. I do agree with you though, if your not better soon, then make an appointment with another GI. You don't want to let this go on much longer.

well i am hurting again now but had about 3 hours of pain free day today. this is a great improvement over previously having said that i will still say i have been sick at my stomach still though but not to the extent i have been did actually eat something worth speaking about today first time in about 5 weeks lol. I am still  going to give the chiro about another week just to see if it is or isnt going to resolve stomach issues. If it does not then im going to go to another gi thk god i have pretty good insurance so i dont need a referal i can just request records and go.

Yes, I'm beginning to wonder about your Dr also. I could understand it if he recommended a Neuro or another Gasto Dr, but a surgeon? That does'nt make sense.
Actually, from what I've read about the diverticuli, it can cause problems. You know it's kind of like a pouch, so to speak, in the intestines. It's not supposed to be there. I'm not a Dr and this is just from what I've read but maybe you do need to see another Gastro Dr.
I understand you not wanting to have another colon test but maybe you won't have to. You do have the results and you can take them to the new Dr to look at.

Thats it the diverticula where not inflammed or infected all he really stated was he saw nothing he thought that could be causing my issues. I do believe alot in my case ive had some not so good dr. Nothing suggested about an upper gi at all by him just basically he stated ive done what i can do go see a surgeon hmm. Well after seeing chiro today im still naseuas and i eat mainly because of that more than anything when i do eat it just makes it worse almost instatntly but i still try to force myself to do so all i can.

What did the Dr say about the diverticuli? If this is infected it had to be treated with meds or surgery.

Chiropractors are great. I see one myself and have for many years. It's amazing how I can go in with all kinds of pain, nausea, headaches and leave feeling so much better.
It's true that pain can cause nausea, but in your case it seems to be more than just being out of alignment.
I'm wondering if your next step would be to have an upper GI done since your having all of this nausea and can't eat.
I'm not sure if you should see a Neuro first, or ask for an upper GI. The Neuro Dr would check your back to see if there are any disc problems. If you did have bulging or herniated discs that could be causing the pain.

Thks for responding i just got back from the chiro again and after tins unit treatment and him reseting my pelvis and hip pain is much better but im very very naseuated. He told me this could be the affect of the pain or the displacement. However i will say it seems to be better. for the moment cant really belive though it could be this simple of an answer but maybe it is. any other suggestions. if it doesnt fix the issue by next week im guessing my next step might be a neurologist?

Why is your Dr recommending a surgeon? They don't even know what's going on yet. I would'nt want anyone preforming surgery on me either without knowing what the problem is. You may have to keep seeing Drs until you do find one that knows what in the world is going on. I wish I could be of more help but they've done tests that I would have recommended. Don't give up, keep looking for answers.    Remar
