There's gonna be swelling after circumsicion for many days, but it will subside eventualy. If you suspect there's an infection go back to your doctor. I had my circumsicion one year ago so I know How you feel now. Feel free to ask me more questions and don't speculate with your health, if you see something that doesn't look good go to your doctor.
When you have surgery and anything is questionable during your healing process, always call the surgeon. You will talk to his nurse first as he will often be in surgery when you call, but he expects to hear from you if you have pain, swelling, suture issues, any wound discharge, or reactions to any medications he has prescribed. So call. They may be able to reassure you over the phone, or he may want you to come in just in case. I doubt there will be a charge for the visit; I believe postop visits are included in your surgery fees. Believe me, a surgeon wants to see you early rather than later if you have any complications. Don't go blaming him if there is a little wound infection or anything. You have to realize that there can be complications from surgery that are not always the surgeon's fault, and early intervention can control most of them. But some parts of the body may swell more than a patient expects after surgery, so he may say it is just normal swelling. But he'll know. And ask what to expect next and clarify what it would look like if you did need to come in for an infection, etc.
