Recurring Yeast Infection

Hi,
Im a male. May i enquire on the reason as to why i keep having recurring yeast infection in my penis? Everytime i have an infection i would apply the cream the doctor gave me till the itch is gone. However the yeast returns sometimes even if i did not have any sexual contact with anyone. Are there any treatment and should i be worried about this situation?
Thank you very much

Thank you Solace for your help, appreciate it.
Do you think my case of recurring yeast infection is STD related?
Thanks.

Hi,
Some of the reasons for recurring yeast infection are:
1. You have not applied the external cream long enough to completely cure the disease.Normally you need to apply the cream continuously for about ten days.Should not stop immediately after itch is gone.
2. You have some systemic yeast infection like Candidiasis so that for complete cure, you need to take some internal medicine also. In this case, you should go back to the same doctor when it recurs so that he will give you the necessary medication.
3. You are living in a house infested with mold, so that after stopping the external medication, it returns from the clothing or environment. In this case, you should do the required house maintenance to remove the mold from the house.
4.  You may be living in a humid environment which exposes your body for easy fungal infection. In this case use anti fungal soaps and shampoos regularly and try to remove moisture from your living space.
