Red Spot on Penis

I had HPV but I haven't had any outbreaks in a long time, and I only have one partner, I really only had bumps around the base of my penis anyways, never on my penis. My gf and I ALWAYS use a condom, but we haven't had sex for about a month or two before I noticed my current condition. I just noticed a red spot on the head of my penis, it's kind of circular in shape and a little smaller than the size of a dime. I'm uncircumcised, so the red spot was not only on the head of my penis, but it was also on the inside of my foreskin that covers the area where the red spot is on the head of my penis. I thought it was actually bleeding, but it's not, it's just red on that part of the head and the foreskin. It doesn't feel any different or hurt or even uncomfortable...I just don't know why I have a red spot on my penis...any ideas on what it could be???

I had the same exact thing on my circumsized penis. In doing web research on this problem I found that is is very wide-spred among men. However, I was disappointed with the info that is out there on the net about this problem - lots of guys with the problem and no treatment suggestions. Much of with is out there tells me to just wait it out....

I went to a dermitologist and she perscribed Hydrocortisone Valerate USP, 0.2%. I applied it 2x per day and the mark disappeared in one week.

Hi,If you have no other places or lesions on any other parts of your body, then that rules out sexual diseases. You could have a skin rash that just happens to be in that area of the body.I think it may be inflammation of the Prominent Tysons Gland.A good Dermatologist could help you with this.Good luck.
