Pain in testes, Groin pain, Urinary frequency, Strange feeling behind one testicle

Hey. Curious to see if anybody can point me in a more clear direction here. About a year or more ago I noticed my urine stream growing weak. Eventually it became broken at times, urgency stronger and stronger, with a feeling of not emptying the bladder. Last several months pain in the testicles is seemingly growing. I feel something behind the left testicle, but that's been there for a long time If I remember correctly. Long before any symptoms, issues, etc. On some flomax currently and anti inflammatories. Doesn't seem to be really helping much. Maybe it is. I've heard ejaculating often can help (perhaps?) but from my experience there is more pain after ejaculation. Doc thinks I may have a urethral stricture and wants to stick a scope or something up in there and open the bladder... maybe putting a stint in? I'm not exactly sure. Anyway, anybody have any thoughts? Would be very much appreciated. I'm trying to work up the courage to go have surgery or whatever else may be necessary. I'm 29, also, if that helps anybody in their consideration of what my complications might be. Thanks.
