Tip of penis glans is pale and has red dots on it

As far as I can recall this is something I've had since I was at least a teenager. About half of my is penis gland is very pale, from the mid to the tip, while the rest of it looks normal and healthy. There are red dots that look like blood blisters dotted around the top of my glans, primarily around my urethra. The blisters vary in size but I think the biggest ones are just about 1mm in diameter. The dots are all subdermal and I'm just barely able to "feel" the largest ones with my finger. They don't itch, they don't hurt, they don't secrete any puss or anything, they are just there.

About 10 years ago I did actually go to the doctor with it but I cannot recall what he said it was, but what happened is that I went to see a dermatologist who cauterized away the largest dots and that was about it. I still have the smaller ones and my penis head is still pale

I have a hard time finding anything online, I can't find any pictures that show the same thing as I have or any, but my guess is that this must be caused by some kind of trauma to the penis. I'm desperately searching for answers and treatments and I'm thinking about trying to use hydrocortison to see if it can help, however I'm not sure how safe it is.

I should also note that as far as I'm aware this is not an STD, as this is something I had before having sex, and all sex I've had have been protected.

It's really screwing with my confidence and sexual health as I don't want any woman to see it, and I still haven't let my girlfriend see my penis in that way

This could be lots of things. It might be something called angiokeratomas, or a number of other things.

You should go back to your doctor, though. Get an actual diagnosis. Treatments for many things have evolved since you were a kid, and there may be a better or new treatment now.

Also, don't be ashamed of it. Penises have all kinds of variations and women don't care about them. If she cares for you, and is even a little intelligent, she'll understand it isn't contagious and just part of you. :)
