Complications after Penescrotal webbing surgery?

Hello,

I am currently three days post-op of a correction of penescrotal webbing (freeing the scrotum from the shaft). I have been experiencing a swollen penis and a restriction of my penis girth at the site where the incision was sewn up. The surgeon used a straight line incision, however, I noticed that it is common practice to use a Z-plasty in this particular procedure. My erections are painful and pull on the stitches and cause my shaft to turn a purplish-red color. Should I be concerned about the way it is going to heal or will it loosen up? I don't want to have this weird baseball shaped penis, because the skin was possibly sewn together too tightly? What should I do?
