a bit of blue at the under side of penis head

well im an 18 year old virgin... i recieved my circumcision in the summer of 2005 and have been comfortable without the skin (took a bit of getting used to). Anyways, after i noticed that the underside of my penis head is slightly blue... i have no pain, never had sex, and only masturbate occasionally... i went for a workout and after i got home in the shower i noticed that it was slightly bluer then before... i think its something with the circulation..i've had surgery for a hernia before and it hasn't really bothered me either... i excercise regularly but i smoke 3-5 cigarettes a week.. and i've been smoking on and off for a few years... i tried googling my symptom and wound my way here so i decided to post my question and hopefully get an answer... i dont think its very serious because i've had it almost since after my circumcision and it doesnt bother me because theres no pain... i've never had sex so i dont think it could be an STD either.. i've read on the forums here that sometimes lack of circulation can be caused by smoking. so i've decided to quit in the hopes that the blueness will go away.. i dont really think its serious but i thought i'd just toss it up here just in case.. and if its something serious i guess i should consult my family physician for references to some kind of specialist... anyways thanks in advance

I haven't been circumcised and I have the same thing dark red around the head or rim and blue at the back. I definatly think it is a lack of circulation

I am similar to you. I was circumcised 4 years ago (aged 30) and the head of my penis is still a bit blue looking in colour just around the rim (the top of the penis is normal pink in colour). It is almost like it is still bruised or there is poor blood circulation. I thought this colour would disappear over time but it hasn't. Otherwise everything has been fine and I have not experienced any problems.  Does anyone know if this is nornal?
