Hard white skin near the frenulum. What could it be?

A few months ago I noticed a small white area of hard skin around my frenulum. There's no pain or itching, but I'm worried about since it doesn't seem to fade away. In fact, everyday it changes a little bit in size and shape. I'm uncircumcised but hygiene was never a problem.

I thought this could be an yeast infection, so I applied Miconazole for a few weeks, but it didn't seem to work.

Recently I felt a little pain in the area after intercourse, which led me to believe that this hard white skin isn't as flexible as it should be. The pain was gone in the next day.

What could this be? Whats should I do?
